Start Your Journey to A Great Smile
Typically in the first ortho visit, you know, we’ll take a scan of the teeth, or we’ll take impressions to basically get molds of the positions of where their teeth are currently. And we’ll also take some X-rays, and then we’ll take a few pictures to kinda document where their teeth are now so that we can have something to compare to as we go through treatment to see how everything is progressing. We wanna make sure they have all of their permanent teeth while they’re still baby teeth that typically wait to start treatment. When the permanent teeth are in, we’ll assess where their bite is, how their teeth are coming together, what amounts of movement will need to be done. And then depending on that, we’ll kind of know what type of orthodontic treatment they’ll need, whether that’s brackets or the clear aligner therapy.
